I started this incredible journey in 1997 being an active part of the transformation of the banking industry joining Accenture, where I worked in more than 10 countries both in America and Europe and I came to lead the Cards and Payments practice in Spain. Subsequently, in 2006 I joined Banco Santander as Head of Technology and Retail Banking Operations. From 2011 to 2015 I was responsible for leading theTechnology of Business Banking for the entire GroupSantander participating in the integration and development of the platforms of the Group's banks in all the geographies where it operated. In 2016 I assumed the responsibility of leading the Technology of Santander Spain, being responsible for directing the technological and operational integration of Banco Popular (one of the 5th largest banks in Spain) from 2017 to 2019.
I have been Executive Vice President and Head of Technology & Operations in Santander Spain from 2016 to 2020.
In all these years I have worked in more than 20 countries learning from theirdifferent cultures,processes and ways to understand the business and its clients.
In 2021 I started a new professional stage as an advisor in new technologies, digital transformation and entrepreneur, helping companies on their way to digital transformation. I collaborate in advisory boards of banks and tech companies to help organizations and their clients to improve their digital transformation and thus be able to contribute to the achievements and objectives that they have in their strategic plans.
One of my great challenges in recent years is to help companies transform and improve operational processes. Transform them to offer better efficiencies and the best experience to employees and customers.
Passionate about technology, cybersecurity and innovation, especially in artificial intelligence, blockchain, robotics, RPA and how technology is changing the landscape in the financial services industry.
I am also interested in the evolution and disruption of new management wealth models, asset management and insurance.
I love spending quality free time with my family, playing sports, enjoying travel, the mountains, winter sports and continuing to meet interesting people from all over the world.
